Richard & Judy are morons…redux

January 29th, 2008 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

This time it was Judy being a complete bloody idiot. She had to make a comment, as part of a feature on Spitting Image, that Ronald Reagan was far smarter than George Bush. Can someone remind me where this bonehead went to university? And where was it she got her degree in law? Then again maybe they are trying to prove how stupid they are so one would believe they committed such a great fraud against their own viewers with the “You Say We Pay” scandal.

ACLU has vitual Gitmo in SL

January 11th, 2008 | Category: Political Correctness, ROPMA, Terrorism, The Media/BBC idiocies

In an attempt to sycophantically support America’s enemies the ACLU is attempting to “educate” people in Second Life about Gitmo. I wonder if they understand the irony here; do these pinheads not realise that if the inhabitants of Gitmo had their way there would be not Second Life and no one would have internet access. The ACLU continues to demonstrate how they have lost the plot.

Obviously they have ignored the statistics of how many of those who got early release from Gitmo went back to their terrorist ways. But that does not matter to the Jihadist Empowerment Union.

Richard & Judy are morons…

January 10th, 2008 | Category: Politics, The Media/BBC idiocies, UK Politics

Alas they haven’t managed to leave the air yet. Right now they are going on about the American elections. They are being ****wits again. And they claimed that either Clinton or Obama are going to be President. These pinheads did not even manage to mention the Republicans; except in a sneering way. You cannot imagine how idiotic the discussion is on the show. They have some journos on that are participating in this idiot-fest. They were not even able to mention that the Bush White House has/had two senior African-Americans in it with Ms Rice and Colin Powell.

Thank god these morons are going off the air soon. They are a drain on the UK collective intelligence. Watching Judy swoon over Obama is vomit inducing.

It would be so much fun to see neither Clinton nor Obama winning the presidency. Then how stupid will these people look then?

Fingers crossed they get sued or prosecuted for ripping-off their viewers in their various rigged contests.

PS: They were swooning over Little Miss Jocelyn as well. She has one of the least funny comedy shows in the history of British television. To say that its crap insults dung everywhere. Its patently obvious the only reason she has a show is because of her ethnicity.

G.A.Y. has something to celebrate

December 29th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

Kylie Minogue has gotten an O.B.E. from the Queen for surviving cancer? I have survived cancer and I got squot. And isn’t Kylie a freaking Aussie? You know the country that is about to ditch the Queen as their head of state.

Surely Kylie should be stuck in the Tower for producing some of the most dire music the planet has ever known?

You don’t even get to keep it…

November 28th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

That is the program you download from the BBC’s iPlayer if you have a PC and are running all the right kit. Cory Doctorow points out that if you are a licence fee payer you have already paid for the program you are downloading from iPlayer so you should be able to keep it as long as you want.

So basically not only do the BBC not give a damn about Linux, Mac and older PC users; they are ripping you off by making the downloads DRM. Lovely bunch the BBC eh?

BBC’s f***ed priorities

October 19th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

While BBC3 the channel for freak shows, such as F**k Off, I’m A Fat Man is protected, mainstream current affairs programmes have been told to wield the axe. Newsnight, with an annual budget of 8 million, must lose 20 per cent over the next five years.

Want to know just how bizarre their thinking is? Go read all of Jeff Randall’s piece on the state of the BBC. They are cutting news programming while keeping the little watched BBC3.

Its a bloated government bureaucracy so used to living off the taxpayer teet it has no clue how to manage itself.

Update: Jenny McCartney piles on the pressure.

One has to wonder that now that BBC radio no longer pays for appearances by pundits and that the TV pays far less if journalists and others have found their voice against the con that is the BBC.

Terror victims are BBC licence-payers, too

August 20th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

Over the weekend, the BBC was forced to remove a highly offensive message about Jesus from its website. All websites run the risk of being defaced by extremists, but why had this message been allowed to remain there for a week, despite complaints?Anti-Muslim comments vanish instantly.

They seem to have a policy of anything British, American or anglo is bad while anything ethnic especially from the Asian subcontinent. On ITV there is a documentary of him driving round the country on b-roads in his Jag convertible discovering the oddities of British villiage life. What is the Beeb doing? Yet another series on Indian partition and lots of programs about that part of the world.

Richard Littlejohn chimes in on the subject.

Balanced reporting…

August 14th, 2007 | Category: Political Correctness, The Media/BBC idiocies

Watching the ITV news last night I was amused to hear the headline on Rove’s departure from the White House. “”Bush’s brain” leaves the White House.” Yep, no prejudice or editorialising there guys. Nice to see that you don’t have an office line on all issues. Funny enough they never seem to mention Bush’s Yale graduate degree. Wonder why that always slips their collective minds?

That t word; no not terrorist

August 08th, 2007 | Category: ROPMA, Terrorism, The Media/BBC idiocies

And by that I mean traitor not terrorist. In Channel 4’s never ending quest to do what the BBC cannot or will not do they have produced this show. Its part of their Dispatches series and yet again makes it clear what the British public is endangered by in the form of the Islamist fifth column.

This is not even “secretly” taped on anything; those on the video willfully sat there and spewed their hatred of everything British. What was most worrying was an advisor to the government stating that up to 20% of the Muslim population living in the UK are either active cells, sympathetic and empathetic with the evil Islamists.

A leader in Telegraph was critical of the program; but the comments below put them to rights.

There are some trying to stem the tide of extremism, a former jihadi to be exact.

Ratty little secret

I rather wish I didn’t read the press bumf that accompanied the movie screening I saw last night (reviewed below) as it contained something that was either bad or hilariously lame. It seems one of the main characters is voice by uber moron Jeneane Garofalo, you know the one who is convinced that Bush perpetrated 9/11 and other conspirazoid lunacies. She was also a host on the lead balloon that was Air America on a show Majority Report (obviously it wasn’t or more people who have listened).

The amusing bit of her bio is that she lists her time with Air America despite the fact it was a complete failure and hosts like her drove it to bankruptcy. She also lists her talent as a comediane…hrm does that require you to be funny? Has anyone actually laughed at heir caustic bill-filled ranting?

That said she voices a stereotypical young French woman in the movie. I am sure her French fans who loved her anti-American bile on Air America, might be a bit purturbed by the fun at the expense of the French.

I guess her career took precedence over her left-wing lunacy.

JetBlue helping Kos or not?

July 20th, 2007 | Category: Political Correctness, The Media/BBC idiocies

JetBlue has rethought its position and decided that support Kos might not be the best business idea.

O’Reily is an arse, but he is spot on with this one.

Now it seems that JetBlue is trying to pull a fast one on us or at least according to Kos. If you want a laugh check out the upset KosKidz upset at Lance for criticising their dear leader.

Lance’s site is a getting absolutely pounded by the Kos kidz who are being their normal reasonable selves and ignoring anything said.

It turns out that Kos has actually linked to the post on Lance’s blog.

Language of Dominance?

April 23rd, 2007 | Category: ROPMA, Terrorism, The Media/BBC idiocies

My weekly forays to Islington to see my beloved’s parents and use their spare room as a gig/party/dinner engagement crash pad has a sometimes amusing but more likely angering side affect. It allows me the opportunity to read some of the local free rags. Generaly filled with the pontificating of the “Islington elite” there are articles that sometimes are so out there the Guardian would not touch them. The latest issue of the Islington Tribune has a piece about an upcoming series of talks on the subject of terrorism at City University.

The series “asks whether terrorism is a reaction to the Western language of dominance, if terrorist can really be contained by the “war on terror” or if its time for a new radical form of culture politics.”

It points that terrorism has become “a major theme” these days. Well it so happens that a certain group of people celebrated the opening of century with a massive act of terrorism in the US. Surely almost all of the terrorism in the world today is inspired by one single religion and has sod all to do with the language of anything but the Koran.

Surely it was radical politics of the 60s that empowered many of these religious loons in the first place? The blame-everyone but the bomber brigade has been busy making excuses for the worse atrocities since th 60s.

I better normal residents of Islington, you know the hard-working ones who have lived their all their lives and tried to the best for themselves, resent their exorbidantly high taxes being spent on rubbish like this series of talks.

I am guessing a talk with the theme of “terrorists are the scum of the earth and sought out to be killed before they kill anyone else” is not likely.

Speaking of this sort of mindset a group of “journalists” are being activists again this time on the arms trade.tags technorati :

Cho inspired drivel

April 22nd, 2007 | Category: Political Correctness, Terrorism, The Media/BBC idiocies

Another day and yet another bit of ill-informed pointless drivel about the VA Tech shootings. Well actually its one of two but the other one has some intellectual merit. The one that irks me most McCartney’s piece where she insinuates blame for the killing on movie like Hostel and Tarantino’s output. She fails to mention that there are fairly warped Korean horror films that are inspiring Hollywood, and as I hear it British directors as well, like The Audition.

She fails to make the link that I have done between the style of video released by Cho and those released by jihadist killers on an almost daily basis. There was ranting against those the person loaths used as an excuse (rich kids instead of Zionists) for evil behaviour. There was the posing with the weaponry to be used in the attack and even they stark filming. Watch Cho’s video and then watch the video from the 7/7 bomber(s) then tell me if you don’t see a similarity.

It is irrelevant that Cho was not a Muslim because he was certainly inspired by Islams murderous extreme elements. No doubt he is being lauded in the Islamist world, of that you can be sure.

For a good counter to this sort of nonsensical prattling on you might want to read Colby’s thoughts on the killings. Unlike many he actually took the time to read Cho’s rants and understand them.

Penn & Teller do a wonderful takedown of gun control and its ineffectiveness in this video.

Oh and if you want to see an Islamist loon peddling the same sort of drivel LGF has a video. The Iman doesn’t seem to be able to grasp the fact the guy was South Korean either.

This is a classic…it was the wiccans what caused it.

Totten in Kirkuk

Here is the type of thing you will never see on the BBC lest they offend Arab sensiblities. Yet, another part of the Middle East that some would want wiped off the face of the earth with all its people. You see the BBC and other news outlets would not want to you to read something like this for fear you might actually start realising why Saddam was really taken down. Then again I was attending meetings of exiled Kurds before the war who begged me, yes begged me, to ask all the politicians I knew to support the invasion.

Not exactly going to help Turkey’s cause to join the EU either if anyone is sensible.

Quote of the Day

April 18th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

First Post has a piece on citizen journalism as related to the Virginia Tech incident. That guy certainly has the Guardian’s number doesn’t he? Maybe the VA Tech student had read the idiotic things being written by the British media about the whole event. Unlike some of the journalists covering the story from the UK he has some class.

Funny thing is that I haven’t heard any British journalist question the “culture” of South Korea yet. The kid was South Korean yet its still America’s fault he did this. Wait for all kinds of apologia attempting to redirect responsability for this horrid act.

Couple of cracking vids

First of all Britain & America has a rather good piece asking the rhetorical question Can America Trust the BBC? Their reporting of the VA Tech massacre clearly demonstrates their clear hatred of anything American whether it be cultural or political.

Second one of interest is a thirty minute video from the awesome Christopher Hitchens on free speech. Its takes the form of a lecture. It is in opposition to a proposed amendment to ban hate speech. The lecture was given at Hart House.

Both of thse are well worth watching and pondering.

Hello North Korea?

April 07th, 2007 | Category: Music, The Media/BBC idiocies

“We’re getting some people from America, which is fantastic. I want people from Zimbabwe, Iran, North Korea, Russia, even Peckham!”

Would it shock you to hear that the person who came up with this little statement of idiocy suffers from Bush hatred syndrome and its trying to do the largest protest song ever? Its neat that they have already set a record for amount of people on the track; jsut a pity about the subject matter. Surely suggesting that he will get the chorus recorded on a mobile phone from North Korea shows a certain intelligence lapse.

Someone might want to suggest to him that people in North Korea are more concerned about getting enough to eat rather than recording a clip for his lame arse protest song.

Yes, I have listened to it and its pretty damn lame.

BBC2 does Phelps’ PR

April 02nd, 2007 | Category: Religion, The Media/BBC idiocies

Louis Theroux has done a bizarre and pretty vile show on Fred Phelps and his lot. Quite while they felt the need to give these loons an airing is beyond me. Obviously they liked them a bit because they are so anti-Bush.

Theroux does his gormless in America bit quite well but still you feel that this show will only help Phelps’ cause not hurt it. Despite the fact they are a bunch of in-bred morons they do not represent anyone but themselves. I expect Theroux will be hanging out with the Kahane lot next. Isn’t it nice to know that licence fees are going to pay for this idiot to give Phelps’ mob coverage?

F*** the BBC tax

April 01st, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

Don’t look at me for the title? There is a piece about some of the latest programming being paid for the above inflation rise in the BBC Tax. Have shows on like F*** Off, I’m Short right as taxpayers get nailed by a decent rise in their BBC tax is problem not that clever. (They wanted far more and are whingeing loudly.)

The BBC used to be known for great comedy and good specialty shows. Now they barely have any comedy on at all and its not the slightest bit clever. As far as specialty shows you can find quite enough of that on satillite on all the myriad of quality channels.

The BBC tax is not long for this world and the BBC seems unable to do anything to justify its retention. Their demise will be most amusing to watch.

Establishment defeatism

March 31st, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

Read this load of drivel from Sam Leith in the today’s Daily Telegraph. Then have some fun and read the responses to his noxious bit of rhetoric. Nitwits like this guy don’t seem to realise that Britain’s enemies both within and without read crap like his and think that the country has lost its spine and is ripe for the picking.

Mummy’s War

March 30th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

Tonight saw another good show on Channel 4, they seem to be on a run, seeing Carol Thatcher head off to the Falklands to talk to the locals about their memories. There were some very poignant memories from islanders about the days of occupation and their liberation.

Of course, they had to send her to the Argentine to experience the scum that is the Argentinian male first hand. The idiots on the show didn’t blame their President (which the narrator forgot to mention was a dictator) for invading sovereign British territory because he wanted to rally his country and assuming a woman would not kick their arses, but blamed Maggie. They even had the cheek to call her a war criminal.

One thing that annoyed me was that showed lots of British dead, but never once showed the great shots of Argey planes being blown out of the sky.

Overall it was a pretty good program and Carol was a jolly good sport. Well worth spending an hour reminding oneself on Maggie’s finest hour.

Iraqi Kurdistan

March 29th, 2007 | Category: Middle East, The Media/BBC idiocies, War

Go over and read an extensive report from the Kurdish areas of Iraq from Michael Totten. Its makes for reading that would probably upset the agenda-ladened types at the BBC and other bits of the MSM. Its funny you never hear a positive word about the Kurds or how they doing? One wonders is if people get wind of their development and freedom it might change their minds about the war.

Blogger gets death threats

March 27th, 2007 | Category: Blog gos, Terrorism, The Media/BBC idiocies

The BBC is reporting that a “prominent” blogger has been recieving death threats and has discontinued her public appearances. I have to admit never hearing of Kathy Sierra in my blogging experience. I find the fact there are claims that she is getting death threats as a result of sexism a tad ludicrous.

Death threats are not new however as other bloggers have recieved them including Laurence Simon, Seixon, Dean and even little ole’ me to name a few.

Someone should let the BBC know its not a sexism thing, its a moron thing.

More here and I am getting a bit worried about the whole female blogger meme going through it. As if male bloggers never get death threats?

Update: Needless to say the BBC is using this as an excuse to push a Blogger Code of Conduct.

Britain doesn’t get it

March 18th, 2007 | Category: Music, The Media/BBC idiocies

They seem to have missed the lesson of last year’s Eurovision and selected another load of rubbish as their entry. They don’t seem to understand that the new Eastern European countries think Euro-pop is a load of shite and look for something with a bit of balls to win. In a further bit of embarassment Terry Wogan couldn’t get the name of the group right when announcing the winner. Maybe he was stunned that anything so rubbish was selected. Lets hope the UK entry gets what it deserves…ie bugger all points.

The word is Muslim

I am sure all of you have read or heard about that gunman who went apeshit in a mall in Utah and killed 5 before thankfully be blown away. What you probably didn’t know from the BBC or other MSM media outlets is that he was a Bosnian wait for it Muslim. Could this be a case of Sudden Jihad Syndrome perchance? I notice the BBC never even hinted it was a terrorist attack probably hoping people would think it was just a case of America’s gun-culture gone awry.

Doughty Street on Newsnight

January 30th, 2007 | Category: Press Appearances, The Media/BBC idiocies, UK Politics

Until 10:30 tonight you can see Tim Montgomerie on Newsnight defending 18 Doughty Street new series of campaign adverts in the lead up to the next election. The advert featured is the rather amusing one based on taxation and how it affects daily life. Tim seems to be using his appearances on Doughty Street rather well and came across quite professionally on Newsnight this time. Here is the advert that was featured on Newsnight.

Speaking of which you can now see my latest appearance on Doughty Street here.

BBC lauds Kos

January 18th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

BBC4 had a wonderful show on blogs on a show called Storyville: Blogwars. And funny enough most of the show lauded Daily Kos and lambasted the left-wing blogs. Did they mention one libertarian blog? Yeah right…it was bash the right and love the extreme left. And does Markos have an ego? Wow, it rivals another annoying far-left Greek George Michael. Some of the bloggers featured have such a mesiah complex it ain’t even funny. By the way the right-of-centre types have better tunes as well.

Well at least they had Christopher Hitchens on it.

Update: Psychology Today has done a piece on bloggers and Kesher has the round-up of reactions to it.

BBC whinges about settlement

January 04th, 2007 | Category: The Media/BBC idiocies

BEEB BOSS DISAPPOINTED AT REPORTED LICENCE FEE SETTLEMENT In an email to BBC staff sent out just before Christmas, and reported in Broadcast magazine, the Corporation’s top man Mark Thompson has expressed his disappointment in the licence fee rises that the government is now expected to announce. The BBC has been lobbying for a rise in its licence fee for some time, with bosses there hoping to get the go ahead to raise the fee each year by 1.8% above inflation. However, reports that surfaced in mid-December suggest that the Beeb will not get a rise linked to and above inflation – rather it can expect a 3% increase this year and next, and then a 2% rise each year for the next three years. Although media minister Tessa Jowell won’t officially announce her decision on licence fee rises until next week, Thompson has said that the source of those leaked proposals is “credible”. He added that the news was a “real disappointment”. Assuming the leaked figures are correct, it is not clear what impact the approved licence fees will have on the BBC, who obviously were banking on their income increasing somewhat more than it now will. The NUJ is already predicting that the lower licence fee settlement will lead to further job cuts at the Corporation.

I found this bit of news via CMU.

Needless to say they are whingeing even louder now, the DT is not impressed. The governors are now claiming this will lead the UK to have a TV market “like the US”. You mean the source of most of the programming on British television today? All of which was not paid for by taxpayers but by advertisers.

A few things…

January 03rd, 2007 | Category: Politics, ROPMA, The Media/BBC idiocies, UK Politics

Well Scott is back with a calm vengeance with some clean-up on stuff he has done on envirofacist lying, Islamist er lying and racist pool policies (against whites).

Speaking of racists the neo-Nazi BNP are causing some rumblings in the Witagamont lot over the content of (now former) BNP supporting blogger. It was resolved satisfactorily but resulted in a rather interesting discussion on matters of censorship and the BNP.

Further that Tim has sparked an interesting debate on his blogs in regards to whether or not the party is left or right. Now many on the left & in the MSM continue to portray the BNP has far-right when in fact their policies are in fact far left. You see they come from the left and dont want to be associated with them…but dont seem to mind being associated with the equally racist RESPECT. Needless to say I have bothered to read the BNP’s manifesto and its collectivist, anti-capitalist, envirofascist & statist through & through.

Video games bad for literacy?

December 28th, 2006 | Category: Games, Political Correctness, The Media/BBC idiocies

I wrote this in response to this idiotic piece by Boris Johnson in today’s Telegraph.

Video games cause children not to learn to read. What the hell are you on about Boris?
Surely teaching children to read is the job of the schools not computer game companies. And where are parents in all of this? Shirking their job once again.

Many video games teach children how to solve problems, think creatively and even teach them history. Never mind the fact that, as opposed to television or movies, video games require interaction and thought.

Well done Boris care to bash any more successful British businesses? Video games are a large business in the UK and one that is far healthier than British movie business.

Rubbish school and bad parenting are at fault not video games. This luddite piece is as laughable as it is daft.

Guess Boris had a bit too much mulled wine before writing his latest rant. What a load of ole’ tosh mate.
