The socialist in NY23 drops out…
Big news that will make all those who backed her look rather daft.
Rick Moran has done a great piece on it.
And the proper conservative is now ahead.

A train hits a bus load of Catholic school girls and they all perish. They are all in heaven trying to enter the pearly gates past St. Peter.St. Peter asks the first girl, “Jessica, have you ever had any contact with a penis?” She giggles and shyly replies, “Well I once touched the head of one with the tip of my finger.” St. Peter says, “OK, dip the tip of your finger in The Holy Water and pass through the gate. St. Peter asks the next girl the same question, “Jennifer have you ever had any contact with a penis?” The girl is a little reluctant but replies, “Well once I fondled and stroked one.” St. Peter says, “OK, dip your whole hand in The Holy Water and pass through the gate.” All of a sudden there is a lot of commotion in the line of girls, one girl is pushing her way to the front of the line. When she reaches the front of the line St. Peter says, “Lisa! What seems to be the rush?”

Comments are off for this postInvoked the ire of the Paulistinians…
It seems that some Paultards are claiming that the tea party movement has been invaded by Jews neo-Cons and that they/we have taken over the cause. Correct me if I am wrong, though I know Ron Paul is getting on a bit he wasn’t actually at the original Boston Tea Party.
The modern day tea parties of this year were inspired by that rebellion against high taxes and lack of representation in the halls of power.
In fact the legend on the Maine Tea Party site reads: Eliminate the pork, cut taxes.
Now Rep. Ron Paul is an acquirer of pork from DC for his district. This pork causes taxes to be raised on all, therefore he makes a perfect person to stand against in the cause of lower taxes and cutting pork. What is so hard about this for Paulbots to understand?
4 commentsGuest post: Obama’s Katrina, Only This Time There’s No Water
The Central Valley of CA after having been attacked by radical environmental law that aims to put animal life over the lives of humans has now been abandoned by our federal government. This prosperous region that produces over 14% of the nations food supply, and up to 99% of certain products like pistachios, cannery tomatoes, and almonds, is being dried up, and not by drought or natural causes, but by our own government.
Thanks to Congress and the federal courts misuse of the Federal Endangered Species Act and two subsequent biological opinions, the vast majority of water that normally flows to California’s West-Side Central Valley farmers has been shut off during the growing season in order to protect a 2” baitfish called the Delta Smelt, and a handful of other marine species. To make matters worse, in 2010, through the implementation of the San Joaquin River Settlement, and the betrayal by environmental groups and the government (who could have guessed), water that normally flows to farms and cities on the East-Side of the Valley will be diverted into the Delta and ultimately into the ocean in an attempt to restore a long lost salmon run (one that experts say will not reestablish).
Now, rather than seeing fertile farmland on the West-Side of the Valley we are left with hundreds of miles and over 500,000 acres of dry ground, creating a second American Dust Bowl, only this time it is our own government that has caused it. In what was already a down economy, our government has caused unemployment in certain cities in this region to reach 40% putting over 40,000 employable people out of work. Farmers are loosing their land, their homes, their life’s work, and their dreams of a better life for their children, all while the President, and politicians like Nancy Pelosi, George Miller, Dianne Feinstein, and even our own Jim Costa, Dennis Cardoza, and George Radanovich sit back and allow it to happen.
The question Americans need to ask themselves is whether they are willing to settle for foreign food like they have settled for foreign oil? We have already seen this government - that cares so much about the people - hand out cans of carrots shipped in from China to the farmers whose produce is lying dead on American farms. That is an outrage! What happened to the America that I grew up in where we were proud of our country and proud of the fruits of our labor? How has radical environmentalism been given this much power? And where is the government whose sole purpose is to protect the American people? In the Central Valley the American Government has become the hurricane.
We must stand against this. We must rise up and demand that our elected officials restore the water supply to the Central Valley. In a year where it doesn’t seem like the government can get anything done, this shouldn’t be that difficult. All it will take is for Congress to pass a bill suspending the biological opinions that are destroying the West-Side farmers, amend the ESA to put human life above animal, abolish the San Joaquin River Settlement, and tell the radical environmental groups that human life and prosperity is more important than animal life. Any politician who does not support their own fellow American over the lives of a fish is not fit to live within the boarders of this country, much less lead this great nation.
We must pressure all involved to fix the problem, and fix it now. Call your own Congressional Representatives, both in the House and in the Senate, as well as the President Barack Obama (202-456-1111), the Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar (202-208-3100), the federal judge who decided this case Judge Oliver W. Wanger (559-499-5600), politicians Nancy Pelosi (202-225-4965 / 415-556-4862), George Miller (202-225-2095 / 925-602-1880), Dianne Feinstein (202-224-3841 / 415-393-0707), and even our own supposed representatives Jim Costa (202-225-3341 / 559-495-1620), Dennis Cardoza (202-225-6131 / 209-946-0361), and George Radanovich (202-225-4540 / 559-449-2490) and demand that they join Congressman Devin Nunes, Senator Jim Demint, and the rest of the American people in supporting the farmers in the Central Valley over fish in the Delta. Help keep America’s food supply safe by Saving the Valley That Hope Forgot.

Pelosi’s health care plan…
The bill is 1,990 pages long and contains a separate 13-page bill to repeal the sustainable growth rate caps on Medicare spending. The Bill will cost more than $200 billion and is not paid for, which will break Obama’s promise to Congress during his speech.
The bill contains the word “shall” 3,425 times. Though Steny Hoyer just said the bill was open and transparent, they prevented the American people from attending their publicity rally by checking IDs and keeping people out.
Read the text of the bill here:

You know its an odd year when the GOP and the Daily Kos are backing the same person in the race. You think Michael Steele might be feeling kind of daft right now? Follow it at 73 Wire.
Its neck and neck between the Conservative and the Democrat a new poll claims.
If the Conservative actually wins how silly will all those including Newt Gingrich feel? Or more importantly how completely out of touch will they seem from their actual base?

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Local Katy Resident Announces Candidacy
Katy, Texas – October 26, 2009 – Tim Graney of Katy, Texas, announced last Monday his candidacy for the 14th Congressional District of Texas. He’s a former small business owner who will be entering his first political race with strong momentum coming out of his campaign launch last week.
Graney is running against long-term incumbent Ron Paul. “It is time for Ron Paul to step down and step aside so he can pursue his own interests while a new statesman emerges to represent the district,” states Graney. “I told him so Sunday afternoon.” Graney went on to say, “I am a fiscal conservative, but I do not support Ron Paul’s weak foreign policy views, nor do I support his do whatever you want ultra-Libertarian views that conflict with our American values.”
In his first term in office, Graney will focus on three key areas of legislation to propel this country forward – Energy, Business Growth, and American Values. Graney says, “The first two are paramount to the economic and long term security of our nation and the third will help return us to our roots that founded and built the greatest nation on earth.”
Graney believes in Energy Initiatives. He will focus on “Expansion of Drilling, Expansion of Nuclear Energy, and Expansion of Research.”
“For decades, the issue of Energy Independence has been talked about without anything ever getting done,” says Graney. “Continued failure to act by the representatives in Washington has lead to a weakened national security and economy. I am here to help reverse that trend.”
He also explains, “The 3 R’s of my Business Growth Initiatives: Reduce Regulation, Reduce Taxation, Re-grow Jobs in America.” As a former small business owner, he understands the pain of dealing with business regulations. Graney wants a zero percent tax rate for small businesses (those who have a profit of less than one million dollars) so they can reinvest their money into their business and continue to grow jobs.
Graney’s third plank is maintaining American Values. “As we move our nation into the future it is imperative that we not forget where we have come from and how we got here,” says Graney. “We must not lose sight of our American values that are being slowly eroded by political correctness. We must return to the principled roots of the founding values that have made America what it is today.”
Monday, October 19, was Graney’s campaign launch event. Within his first week of announcing, Graney has raised in excess of $15,000. “This overwhelming response is humbling and inspirational. It confirms to me that people are willing to support a conservative candidate with traditional values and a clear message that resonates with them. Even in tough economic times, people are finding ways to contribute toward my campaign. I am more resolute than ever to help steer our nation back onto the path of common-sense energy initiatives, a government that is friendly to small business, and a return to our American values.”
His wife of 15 years is Corrine Graney. “I’m proud of Tim,” she says. “He is serving a cause greater than himself. Our boys, ages 11 and 9, look up to their father, who is teaching them by example that politics can indeed be a noble calling.” Graney attributes his values, instilled at a young age, to his upbringing.
This election cycle will define our country in crucial ways. “My time to serve this great nation has arrived; it is the least I can do the repay all she has given me.”

Press Release
Patricia Sullivan
Patricia@PatriciaSullivanforCongress.com
352.357.7283
321.277.5376
Patricia Sullivan, a resident of the 8th Congressional District of Florida, a mom, and a candidate for Alan Grayson’s seat, will be filing a complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics against Representative Alan Grayson.
According to the House Ethics Manual, Grayson’s activities on the House floor yesterday were in direct violation of rules of conduct and ethics found on pages 38, 123, 127, 131, and 176.
As a Mom, Patricia has learned to apply swift correction to bad behavior. She will be filing a complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics later today. It is her hope and desire that the OCE will forward the complaint to the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct.
If the committee sees fit to censure the violations of Representative Grayson, perhaps the residents of the 8th Congressional District will no longer be subject to the constant embarrassment they have endured over the last few months.
It is time for Representative Grayson to be held accountable for his wreckless behavior.
Update: Read the Sentinel piece on the row.
