Somehow, the “Downfall” subtitlings never quite manage to get old — so long as they are directed at a similarly situated individual or situation. The halting faux Germanic invective, with witty subtitles, strikes the humorus and resounds. I guess it helps if you’ve ever seen a BSD or three completely lose it before for real — or even been there yourself.
