“Cry Freedom” the video…

Category: Music

Like Metallica, I never thought I would do a music video for any of my songs. Like a lot of other things in my life, I should never say never.

I hope you enjoy the video which K T Dodge worked at hard to get right. I am just a performing monkey, its the tea party participants, organisers and K T that make it all worthwhile.

Update: Simon Barrett has written a nice piece mentioning the song as has Driscoll. Glen has kindly linked to the video.

Wonderful video, and fabulous song. All you tea party singers should get together and make a CD. We would all glady pay for it. Part of the proceeds could go to the cause!!!

Thanks for your kind words. There is a plan afoot to just do that. I do rather hope that my song makes the cut as there are quite a few good ones out there.

    That’s a nice M1903A3 Arthur holds.

    Good tune, good vid.

And I spy, with my little eye, in one of the backgrounds a nefarious guy. And I don’t mean the Man in the Leather Hat.

Did you ever notice that when you transpose the “U.S.” in nefarious, you get nefariosu? Sounds a little like something you’d order at a Romanian restaurant, or maybe a vampire gangster. “No, no — I said, I vant you to meet my friend, the nesferatu mafioso, not … not this “nefariosu” you speak of in the English … and could you trim that Venetian blind just a little bit more? It is so very bright outside …”
