Brunswick, ME…Castro’s useful propogandists…
Quite an impressive list eh? Yet I fail to see any event which highlighted the plight of Cuban dissidents not all that enthused by the “socialist paradise” and currently under house arrest/rotting in prison.
The only events that don’t seem to celebrate the socialist dictatorship is the salsa on Saturday. Well the one on cars could be alright, but I bet was used as a forum to bash the embargo.
Lets see what else…oh a showing of noxious ode to a psychotic murderer Che Guevera, Che. There is an event to celebrate Cuba’s meddling in Southern Africa where they pumped vast amounts of weapons into the region leading to almost perpetual bloody war. They did the same in Latin America as well, shocking they don’t have an apologia for those actions.
And, we have the event on “race” and how Cuba has so much to teach us. I am guessing it does not mention the fact the Cuban-funded and backed Sandinistas massacred English-speaking blacks in Northern Nicaragua during their time in power. Or the fact that that darker skinned Cubans are more poorly treated than the lighter skinned ones in Cuba.
I wonder if they will welcome it when Cuba is finally a country free of socialist tyranny.
