Fish use fins to remain upright in water and to move forward. Some fish have a sense of touch in their fins, and also use them in courtship displays. The gills of the fish breathe the oxygen dissolved in the water. A few fish, like catfish, can also breathe in the air. Fish have eyes for vision, and a snout, skin folds or whiskers used to smell and taste. They hear well and communicate with sounds or pressure waves.”
