A bloody disgrace…
Jimmy Page there in China supporting the fascist IOC. Doesn’t he realise that because of the bloody Olympics one of London’s beloved music venues is being destroyed? The Astoria has far more cultural value than anything that goes on at the Olympics.
And words you will never hear on the Chinesse worshiping BBC…Free Tibet.
The Bejing Olympics are the living embodiment of everything corrupt and despicable about the Olympics and IOC. An expensive freak-fest that serves no purpose in a modern world.
Oh and they censored the song he played.
Wonder if the BBC cares about the protestors arrested in China/

The Astoria’s being shut down and demolished because of the construction of Crossrail, which pre-existed the Olympics decision. I’m not that bothered anyway - it’s a crap venue, and the whole area around St Giles is a shit-hole that could benefit from being wiped out by a small tactical thermonuclear devise, not least to get rid of all the soap-dodgers and scum who hang around outside.
