2 Out of 3 Ain’t Bad
Boston managed to win the World Series with the Red Sox and the NBA final with the Celtics. Shame about the Patriots choke however. 2/3 of three in the major sports for a city isn’t that bad one has to say. Congrats to anyone who cares about basketball from Boston/New England.

You forgot the Bruins.
Basketball is the moral opposite of hockey. In hockey, you get slammed up against the boards on purpose, you fly off your feet, and what? You get back up, pick up your stick and get back into the game as fast as you can; all part of the game. In basketball, some guy brushes your elbow, you’re supposed to fling yourself onto your back on the floor, scream in affronted agony, and call foul.
Says wonders about the various cultures which created, built and currently support both sports.
I’ll take hockey.
