Bishop likens climate change deniers to child abuser

Considering the record of the clergy on kiddie-fiddling surely its unwise to cast such a phrase on others.

    Oh do grow up and stop frothing at the mouth. He was doing nothing of the sort. If you can’t properly follow such a basic argument about attitudes such as the ultra-selfishness of libertarianism and faith based belief systems like the pseudo-science of climate change denial you need to go and lie down in a darkened room for a few years.

    When have I ever said there is no such thing as climate change? The climate is always changing, in fact the climate is getting colder right now. I am just skeptical of man-made effects on the climate or rather the percentage.

    The remarks were offensive and not becoming of a Bishop.

    No opinion was given one way or the other on your individual opinion on the subject of climate change.

    The comment was about the ability to follow an argument/line of reasoning and pick out its salient features.

    I rest my case.

    Are intellectual athletics within the United Kingdom at such a low level of activity that Hansell’s commentary would be considered as other than the juvenile tactics of a passive-aggressive housewife?
