Alas, he seems to believe its right to refer to those who value liberty and free expression as “far right.” This piece makes a distinction, but its unfortunate that his dialogue is not more accurate.

‘Broadband tax’ could fund TV news bulletins
You knew this was coming. TV viewing is way down as people are on the internet. So what do broadcasters in the UK do? Make better programs to attract people back? Oh no, they want a tax on broadband to make up for all the advert revenue they are losing.
Typical broadcast mentality; if they can’t hack it they whine to the government for help. Needless to say Sky thinks this is a daft idea.
“Ofcom shouldn’t swallow the argument that Channel 4 and ITV would stop producing original programmes if they didn’t get public money,” said Graham McWilliam, its group director of corporate affairs.”

Oh and Olmert has told Carter no thanks to a meeting. I suspect his words might have been a bit stronger before turned into diplomaticese. Their security services have told him to get knotted as well.

Update: Islamic Jihad has refused to meet Jimmah when he is in the region. Finally Islamic Jihad and the Israeli government agree on something.
Update II: Hamas is saying that Carter has boosted their legitimacy. To celebrate this new found legitimacy they killed at least one Jew for Jimmah. Well done Jimmah you traiterous arse.
