Dodgey Column: Is there a future for the race industry?
The whole Obama race-baiting debacle has been a most interesting spectacle to watch. Whether you look at his attempts to defend himself or those efforts of others trying to help. I mean who actually thought its a clever idea to send out a representative of the New Black Panther movement to defend the man must be insane. This is a group that believes all those paranoid delusions that are being spewed by Rev. Wright (US invented AIDS etc) and his ilk.
One has wonder if some of those who are in the “professional race” industry are secretly wishing that Obama wins the nomination, but ultimately fails in the General Election. After all if Obama wins it will probably affect their earning ability. How exactly will these people make a living when a Black man is President, his cabinet will probably have quite a few in it (anyone care to speculate who), quite a few Black governors and there are already lots in DC. They will no longer be able to claim that anyone in administration, Condi Rice and others, is a “house nigger” as they have in the past.
Who would bring these types on their shows to spew their paranoid out-date rhetoric about the role of black people in America. Their speaking engagements will probably dry up as well; as people who care about such things will look with pride at the TV covering Obama’s every move.
Then again this might be influence the rather odd and frankly creepy “assassination fantasies” that keep cropping up in the rhetoric of some of those on the left. Do these people really have a martyr wish for Obama? One has to wonder sometimes.
One has to ponder if some of those trying to scupper his chances at the general election have no kept their powder dry long enough. The revelations currently coming out on an almost daily basis may just deny Obama the nomination if its obvious he will get trounced in the autumn. This is notwithstanding all the delegate machinations currently going on in the Democratic Party. I find it all most fascinating and amusing; especially if leads to an almighty clusterf*** of a Convention.
I think that Obama, should he get the nod, will lose to John McCain in the autumn. There will be a terrible hue & cry from the Democrats and the left about “racist Red states” and things will get back to normal in the race business. What me cynical?

For Dems, the race card trumps the sex card, much to the consternation of Hilly. Little Mac/Ike II will trounce B.O. in the Gen El, however, and it is no accident. This is totally a Chicago thing. H.R.C.’s dad was Hugh Rodham, a connected-up Park Ridge used car salesman and the biggest anti-semite on the Northwest Side. His Wiki bio claims he was a textiles manufacturer. Bull. Find one piece of paper supporting the notion that he produced pair of pants number one. The guy personally arranged for the republication of the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion. 1993: Hugh dies, Prez. Bill spends the night with Sharon Stone. Nice. Hilly puts a lamp in his puss. Pass fifteen years. Along comes Obama. Nice. Rezko’s guy. Cannot possibly win in November on account of his wife is ready for a straightjacket and his pastor is ready for a noose. But Buh-bye, Hill. Either way, Ike II is in. You heard it here first.
It’s very hard to win an election if your party has screwed up the economy. It’d take a miracle for McCain to win in the fall. Rightly so, electing him would be economic suicide.
So it would be preferable to elect man who hangs out with jew-haters, terrorists and Black nationalists? Oh yes and his politics are far left too.
Some screwed-up economy; unemployment is below what classical economists long believed was the “natural” rate, below that of Japan (who would have believed that twenty years ago?) and below that of every European nation with the possible exception of the Vatican. Oh, and some McMansioners are losing the houses they couldn’t afford to buy in the first place. Boo-hoo. George W. Bush is an economic wizard.
