Democratic insanity in Congress

February 17th, 2008 | Category: Politics, Terrorism

They spend all the time, effort and emotion on a bunch of doped up jocks but fail to protect the American public from terrorism. This is Pelosi and Co’s efforts to “do something” before the next election. They seem to be admitting they have no clue about foreign policy whatever. I am thinking that Pelosi’s botox treatments must be seeping into her brain.

The Republicans walk-out was an amusing photo-op it has to be said. At least it focused the attention on the daftness that is affecting Capitol Hill.

According to Robert Novak, for the Democrats at least, its a case of Torts over Terrorists. This piece was found via my buddies at Cold Fury.

Linda Chavez agrees that the whole jock thing is a waste of time.

No Gods or Kings: Objectivism in Bioshock

You always worry about games that get as much hype as this one. The box actually screams about all its awards and kudos. Libertarian friends have been surprised I have not played it yet. Just to add to the pressure to impress; I spent the entire day Saturday completely wiping, reinstalling, updating my Macbook Pro for Bootcamp. I then installed XP.

I am rather impressed so far. Graphically and game play is quite impressive. Oh yes and I can believe it runs better on Bootcamp than on some PCs. Its absolutely flawless and stunning on Bootcamp. Bioshock will be the perfect distraction for me during this “heavy” chemo week.

One wee tip however. If you are of an impressional disposition don’t play this before you go to bed. Last night my dreams were centered in “Rapture”. Odd dreams are not unusual for me; but I am guessing that it might be disturbing for some.

Hard to muster sympathy for these dead…

Yes homicide bombing is pretty bad and lots of people died…but they were at a dog fight the bastards. No doubt PETA will be pleased by this result. Might actually cut down on dog fighting which would be a good thing.
