...Opponents of multi-culturalism are in a dream world. Multi-culturalism is here to stay.Lord Carey bangs on about the preservation of British values. A walk through any English town after 10pm on a Saturday involves an endless encounter with young people out of their minds on alcohol and drugs, fighting, swearing and throwing up.
A similar walk through Amman or Teheran or Baghdad, until the forces of Western imperialism parked their boots on the streets, involved encounters with smiling, happy, young and old, men and women, playing backgammon, drinking tea, smoking water pipes or just sitting quietly in the street watching the fun.
