Widow Wants Death For Jailed Gang

February 12th, 2008 | Category: Politics

The widow of a man murdered by drunken thugs has called for the death penalty to be brought back – as detectives investigate two more brutal street attacks.

Can you blame her?

Opponents of this message are using that wonderful death penalty opponent line: and eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

The reply is: yeah well it would stop these evil bastards from doing it again wouldn’t it?

February 12th, 2008 | Category: Politics

RWN has an interesting break-down of some of the possible choices McCain has for VP. Knowing what a maverick he is; he will probably pull one out of the hat that will surprise us all. Good analysis of the positive and negatives of each.

Hitchens: To Hell With the Archbishop of Canterbury

February 12th, 2008 | Category: Politics

”..the archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, has cited the Beth Din as one of his reasons for believing that sharia, or Islamic law, can and should become a part of what he called “plural jurisdiction” in Britain.”
Christopher Hitchens makes an elegant argument about what an idiot the Archbishop is.

Rowan William’s favorite classic rock song…

February 12th, 2008 | Category: Political Correctness, ROPMA, Religion

“I surrender” by Rainbow

And speaking of the clueless dhimmified nitwits. Check out this letter from today’s DT.

...Opponents of multi-culturalism are in a dream world. Multi-culturalism is here to stay.

Lord Carey bangs on about the preservation of British values. A walk through any English town after 10pm on a Saturday involves an endless encounter with young people out of their minds on alcohol and drugs, fighting, swearing and throwing up.

A similar walk through Amman or Teheran or Baghdad, until the forces of Western imperialism parked their boots on the streets, involved encounters with smiling, happy, young and old, men and women, playing backgammon, drinking tea, smoking water pipes or just sitting quietly in the street watching the fun.

Which culture is healthier?

Mark Jenkins, Mildenhall, Wiltshire

I am guessing that this guy does not really care about freedom or liberty?

Blogging the cancer: every little..

February 12th, 2008 | Category: Health

Its not much but I got some good news yesterday at my fortnightly checkup with the cancer doctor. I am now taking the one pill I take every day instead of two. The next time the dosage changes it will be to end it. The wonderful “rash” that looks like puberty gone mad is spreading bit by bit. It will continue the entire course of my antibodies and will take up two months to be clear after I finish my chemo.

Both Kim and I are continuing to work on our “cancer book.” Its coming together nicely.

Obama not a far-lefty?

February 12th, 2008 | Category: Political Correctness, Politics

Check out the picture on the wall at Obama HQ in Houston.

Obama doesn’t seem to want to win Florida in the General Election now does he? Hope the Republicans take this picture and distribute it far and wide in the General Election.
