Minister says tax plans hurt City
The Trade and Industry Minister Lord Jones said London’s top role in the global finance could be damaged by plans to tax wealthy foreigners. Lord Jones says the proposals will make it harder to attract top investors and business people to London.
Talk about stating the bleeding obvious. I wonder if Digby regrets joining the government considering the way its heading.

The Telegraph has a leader on the subject; as does Sunday Telegraph. There is some estimation that it will especially hurt Americans.
Where are the Tories on this? The wrong place, of course, as they support the idea…just not charging so much. Cameron’s ultimate problem is that they came up with this idiotic idea.
