Helene Zemel presents Family Fun and Fitness posted at Health Plans Plus, saying, “The author remembers a time when families ate dinner together and children engaged in healthy outdoor activities instead of spending countless hours playing video games, surfing the web, watching 300 plus television programs, and talking on cell phones. These sedentary activities have led to an increase in lifestyle diseases such as high blood pressure, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. The author suggests a family fun night to bring back family togetherness and family fitness.”

2 commentsTraitor congressman revealed
Former U.S. Congressman Mark Deli Siljander (R-MI) was indicted Wednesday for money laundering, conspiracy and obstruction of justice, in connection with charges that a Muslim charity, the Islamic American Relief Agency (IARA), was involved in efforts to finance the Afghan jihad terrorist Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. The IARA was named a specially designated global terrorist organization by the U.S. Treasury Department in 2004.
Robert Spencer has written a good piece on this scumbag. The guy is a real class act with links to Hamas and Al Queda. If there ever was a good candidate for the federal death penalty its this scumbag.
The irony is that the guy is a Christian fundamentalist, or was, and now is raising money for Muslim Islamists.
No commentsEU treaty censored by Euro-federalists
Dan Hannan explains what a dire situation the eurosceptic position is in the EU. Next time you hear a British politicians saying the EU is “going our way” have a laugh and remember this piece. The Federalists are in control and will do everything to stay there.
Dan’s pieces are always good but this one is especially worth a read.

They Might Be Barbarians. But They’re Not Stupid
The Liberals are calling for the firing of junior foreign affairs minister Helena Guergis for imperilling the lives of their leader and his deputy by giving advance notice of their visit to Canada’s provincial reconstruction team in Kandahar City.In a scathing letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Liberal Leader Stephane Dion called for Guergis’s removal as secretary of state for foreign affairs because she sent an e-mail to journalists giving advance notice of the Liberal leadership’s trip to the PRT.
And why, pray tell, would the Taliban attack their most important allies? If Field Marshall Dion gets his way, Canadian troops will be doing more critical things than annoying the Taliban.
Like, oh, handing out complimentary gift baskets in Kabul.
Or shovelling snow in Toronto.

I Am A: Chaotic Neutral Human Sorcerer (6th Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength-11
Dexterity-12
Constitution-12
Intelligence-17
Wisdom-16
Charisma-15
Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn’t strive to protect others’ freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society’s restrictions and a do-gooder’s zeal. However, chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.
Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Class:
Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.
