More Tory US bashing…

December 20th, 2007 | Category: UK Politics

This time Charles Tannock MEP thinks its unreasonable that the US should protect itself from foreigners with HIV/AIDS a communicable and dangerous disease. Of course. some of the commenters on Britain and America claim its gay bashing. I can’t wait to see the Tories make a complete arse of themselves in this US election as well sucking up to Democrats only to see a Republican get the Presidency. Didn’t the last time teach them a lesson?

Pols doing Xmas adverts…

December 20th, 2007 | Category: Politics

Is it me or does the rash of Xmas adverts from the Presidential candidates vieing for the nomination cause a scratchy feeling in your throat too? Huck’s was bad enough with its holier than thou, cross on shoulder piousness; but some of the others are just getting bile inducing. Don’t these pols realise that most people are overwhelmed with schmaltz at this time of year and would rather not see anymore? I do hope Thompson and Mitt resist the temptation to follow suit and let the poor people of Iowa, NH and NC have a pleasant Christmas.

I mean what is next a “Band Aid” type sing-along with all the major candidates for charity?

Warning: Language and a surfeit of poop-related products.
