Colon update: the red bit is cancer…
Well if you want to know what a cancerous growth looks like look here. That odd looking thing in the middle of the pink is cancerous. Needless to say I am having it out and its going to make the lead up to my 40th less pleasant than I planned. But if one wanted to put a good spin on it; all I have to say is that the colonoscopy is meant to catch this sort of thing…and it did!
If you are over 35 have a yer colon examined. There is nothing else than that I can say really.
Update: I am getting it sliced out on 5 Nov., Guy Fawkes Day. It will mean a few days in the hospital. The aim is to be sorted and in London for 22 Nov which is my big birthday bash at the Marquee Club in London.
BTW: Lair suggested we name it Red Ken after London’s vile mayor.
Update II: I am going in tomorrow to have a catscan and various other tests to see if there is any other nastiness in my body. So I get to chug some more stuff tomorrow…but its mixed-berry flavoured!
