Daley on Cameron’s lurch back
Janet Daley is not someone I agree with that often but her most recent column about Conservatives afraid of being and talking like one hits the mark. She is quite right about the fact that many of us said that Cameron’s “hug-a-hoodie” mentality bombed with the voters. Cameron & Co are going to try to get away with a huge volte-face possibly within days of the next general election. It will be interesting to see if they get away with it. I suspect that unless things go really pear-shaped for Brown; it will not work. It might. however, prevent the Tories from getting a record pasting when it happens.
