Unbelievable Leftist Hate of the Day
Here’s our jaw-droppingly sick 2-minute leftist hate of the day, at the Guardian’s “Comment is free” pseudo-blog, where journalist Neil Clark argues that Iraqi translators working for UK forces are “traitors,” and should not be allowed asylum in Britain. Instead, Clark…

Progressives For Racist Smears?
“It doesn’t take long for provocateurs to crawl out of the woodwork to attack candidates, especially in stealth attacks…” Very classy the guy behind the site. Do these people not know how simple it is to do a dns search and find out who is behind a hate site like that? I mean really how numb are these people.

Blogger finds Y2K bug in NASA Climate Data
“Years of bad data corrected; 1998 no longer the warmest year on record.” Good to see the Space agency making sure there software is bug free. And we trust this lot with sending people into space? Why is there a NASA anymore anyway? Let private companies handle it.

StuntManiaPro
Most shareware games frankly aren’t worth paying for and the demo is all you really need. Not so with Sector3’s StuntManiaPro. This game is well worth the less than 10 Aus you have to pay for it. While not a “session” game, it perfectly for those little fillups of time you get where you want to do something fun but don’t want to get into anything long and drawn out. One of the neat features is timed games where you set the amount of time you do stunts for and then try to do as well as you can.
As you would expect you can select to have your highscores ranked against the rest of the world. I am currently number one as Lagwolf, but I suspect I will lose that position this weekend. You have a variety of cars, 5 in all, ranging from a semi tractor to a dune buggy. They all have advantages and downsides, it will take you a bit of time to determine which works on which track and you own driving style. There are currently, they add more stuff which each free update, four tracks with a variety of ramps and bonuses. As this is an arcade game there are some power-ups that let you jump higher or go faster.
Not much thinking involved in this game but that is the beauty. Its runs quick, easy and painlessly. More than enough to keep you happy until EA finally gets their finger out and gets Mac users NFS: Carbon. There is a PC version of the game as well.
Inexpensive, quality fun is hard to come by…well worth supporting.
No commentsAll business is local
This is an interesting concept in business telecommunications technology and one that is quite clever. It allowed a business to have local numbers if every country they handle so the customers do not have to call long distance out of the country. International Call Forwarding is a great way of making globilisation that little bit less scary for luddites and technophobes. Before your company goes global make sure to look into International Call Forwarding.

More tourism contract hijinks
Maine tourism is an industry fraught with pratfalls it seems. Now that a new contract has been awarded, a company that lost is getting shirty and sueing. Oh yes, this company is infamous for getting a contract for another state’s tourism campaign, is upset that Maine went out of state and even out of the country. Hypocrisy much?

No commentsEstate agent tech
Its a truism that some parts of the society grasp new technology faster than other parts. Bureaucracy is always way behind the curve on grasping new technology that is for sure. My recent experience with real estate agents is that they aren’t always au fait with the latest bits of kit either. Well there is now technology to take estate agents kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Realtor contact management software gives realtor new levels of organisation that used to have be done by slow pen and paper methods.
It helps estate agents manage day-to-day communication and activities with leads, customers, employees, or anyone else that matters to their business. Producer 7 is leading edge technology for the modern real estate agent competing the modern cut throat internet-infused property market. As with most technology it aids the user to get info and data to where it needs to be as fast and as efficient as possible. In real estate, like any other modern business, information and ability to use it at speed is crucial in making sure your company is the one that gets the sales for both sellers and buyers.
If you are in the real estate game then you should have a gander at this piece of kit. If you aren’t in the game and are interested in technology then it might be useful to take a look as well.
