Galloway suspended…
For 18 days which one has to admit is sod all considering he took cash from genocidal loon Saddam and lied about it. I suspect he won’t be going to the US too soon as this proves he lied to a grand jury in the US. Expect the normal rant from him about Blair & Bush etc etc. Looking forward to the piece from Harry’s Place about this.
He claims martyr status and says he deserves “a medal” for standing up for Saddam in the House of Commons.
He seems he came up a cropper because Saddam took notes on their meetings.

Some fascistic dolt had the idiocy to suggest banning of dogs in pubs after the “succesful” banning of smoking in all pubs. Today the letters page of the Telegraph is filled with correspondents slaming this foolish proposal.
What worries me is that know-it-alls authoritarians that fill the Labour party probably would not find this a bad idea. I doubt any of them have dogs anyway because they are too wrapped up in themselves and preventing anyone from having any pleasure whatsoever.

SURGERY was performed on Sunday to remove a coconut from the body of a man who was sodomised with the fruit during an attack by a gang of men.Ste Madeleine police are now investigating the case, in which the 27-year-old victim was found at the side of a canefield road at Golconda Village, near San Fernando.
Police were told that the man was seen drinking alcohol in the hours before he was found, and a group of men who picked him up are being sought.
The man is reported to have undergone surgery at a private medical centre.
So an impoverished Trinadadian gets to opt for private medical care, while the list of Canadians waiting for coconut-ectomies grows and grows.
And let me tell you, it’s damned uncomfortable after two years or so.
