Boris the saviour?
Conservatives are all a twitter about whether or not Boris will run for mayor. There still seems to be some doubt about whether or not he has confirmed. The Conservatives right now seem obsessed with celebrity, desperate to have one run for them for mayor.
Bizarrely there are even those who want the sleazy Norris to run again as if his losing before was not a big enough clue he can’t win.
I can just imagine what Ken & Co is going to get as far as counter campaigning on the left. They will call him a toff, a fool or worse. I like Boris quite a bit but don’t see him as a serious candidate for mayor. The Tories need to select someone with good ideas who has the nouse to put them into practice. Lee is a serious thoughful man who knows what it takes to fight Islamism; surely in this time of terrorist threat selecting someone who has served is a good idea?
It will be hard to beat Ken, no matter how much we loath the terrorist/dictator loving Jew-hating wretch.
