Glasgow airport hit…
It seems the Islamists are now trying to hit airports that are not so easily guarded. Four men tried to blow up Glasgow airport by driving petrol ladened vehicles into the front of the airport. The lead car was a Cherokee and there are more details and pictures on Sky’s site. It looks as if the UK have to upgrade their security at so-called regional airports.
Yet again it seems that ordinary citizens were in the forefront of the preventing a large loss of life. Reports said that taxi drivers waiting in a rank near by grabbed the bastards who did this.
Shockingly the following was reported by a bystander.
“Everyone was in a panic and police and security were scuffling with an Asian gentleman.”
He added: “There was a lot of anger – if the crowds had got hold of this gentleman it would have been the end of him.”
Glaswegian’s are not known for taking rubbish from anyone so I suspect the witness had things right.
The only upside is that one of the men responsible was seen to be on fire. May he suffer greatly from his burns as he would have those at the airport suffer.
