Sometimes You Can Only Marvel

June 05th, 2007 | Category: Envirofascism, Political Correctness

Financial Times:

. . . the proposal tabled by Germany for next weeks G8 summit, which would require leaders to agree to prevent global temperatures rising by more than 2 degrees Celsius . . .

at the hubris of it all.

Just remember this, and all will become clear:

These people are insane.

Fire in the closet?

June 05th, 2007 | Category: Religion

Came across a wonderful sermon by the Rev Peter Mullens of St Michael’s Church, Cornhill in the City of London. Entitled “Trial by fire” the Reverend gentleman has summarised in a nutshell everything that is wrong with the modernisers in Western Christianity – and spells out why Islam will have taken over Europe by 2037. Even those who are utterly skeptical of religion should read this sermnon carefully.

Yes, you will laugh in places, you may even guffaw at some of the imagery – I did – but you will also have cause to think deeply on the serious points he makes as he develops his theme. And he has a serious warning for us all – the fire is in the closet, and the time to put it out or contain it there is rapidly draining away. The European Millenium is now at an end, our society and our civilisation is teetering on the brink and there are indeed several million decent Muslims who see our salvation and conversion as their God given duty. We can laugh – as I’m sure the Romans did when it was suggested that their Empire was about to topple – but I hope those of you who promote secularisation so assiduously are prepared to adopt the Hijab and the baggy pants and shirts in a few years, because you won’t have much choice.

Unless Putin blows us all away first of course.
