Lagwolf & Co today
Well its Sunday that means another edition of Lagwolf & Co. This week we are talking to people behind the World Stock Exchange which is going gang-busters this week after launching in Second Life. You can listen to us from 1700hrs gmt via this link. Today that is 6 hours ahead of the est and 9 ahead of pst.
Comments are off for this postCamoron wants to stop you flying…
Their latest bit of idiocy, no doubt written by spoiled envirofascist Zac Goldsmith, sees the Torys trying to stop anyone from flying more than once a year. You get one flight at “normal taxes” but after that you get royally shafted by green taxes. This is bong-based government and it has so many holes in it one does not know when to start.
I wonder if they pondered the fact that Britain is a travelling nation, its part of its care. Do they realise that lots and lots of Britons have relatives all over the world? Do they realise that British business are internationalist and have concerns all over the world? Do they really think its good idea to tax the hell out of someone rushing off to the US or Australia because of an ill loved one, a wedding or a death?
In the light of the Channel 4 documentary the Tories look particularily stupid and behind the times. The Sunday Telegraph have a glorius take down of the latest Tory abomination.
Of course it does get worse, Al Bore is going to speak to the Shadow Cabinet.
Thaddeus Tremayne has taken a look at this as well.
Update: You can get the bittorrent of the show here.
Update II: Iain’s readers are making their voices heard on the subject and it ain’t pretty. Not too many supporters on Conservative Home either.
As we watching the beginning of the final self-destruction of the Tory Party?
And I wonder of Camoron has realised just who he is siding with…climate change zealots are now sending death threats to at least one of the heretics that appeared in the program.
Update III: Janet Daley, who is not always that sensible, has written a cracking piece on this very subject aimed squarely at Camoron and his envirofascists cronies.
As you may or may not already be aware, members of the Watcher’s Council hold a vote every week on what they consider to be the most link-worthy pieces of writing around… per the Watcher’s instructions, I am submitting one of my own posts for consideration in the upcoming nominations process.
Here is the most recent winning council post, here is the most recent winning non-council post, here is the list of results for the latest vote, and here is the initial posting of all the nominees that were voted on.
Watching a Shadow Enviroment Minister squirm on the Daily Politics is just too amusing to behold. Andrew Neil is skewering him rather nicely.
1 commentCredit card info
As the government and experts go on about the debt level for individuals and the country as a whole. People are starting to look at their credit card and wondering what exactly they are paying for their credit. There is a great variety between the cards and you really have to keep track it. Many of them are offering 0% balance transfers and even 0% credit cards but you still have to be careful when then limited nature of these deals comes to the fore. This post is sponsored.
