Pondering Italy

March 03rd, 2007 | Category: Amusements

As I have mentioned in a few other places here I spent a decent amount of time thinking of where I might take my beloved for our honeymoon. I was seriously considering heading off to Italy for it but it would have made things rather complicated. That does not mean however that we won’t be heading to Italy in future. Kim has already been and I would be most interested in looking around some of the historical places. We might even consider looking into property in Italy to have a place to get away from whereever we settle. Its early days but something to consider.

A new form of pop-rock is born. One that might acceptable to some of more strident people of Bolton and Southall.

Airbus suffering

March 03rd, 2007 | Category: Technology

I am not terribly surprised to see Airbus cutting jobs at their factories. After all they have lost several big orders of late and suffered at least one crash. I just returned from the US on one and it was a rubbish aircraft. There was less room than a Boeing, two of the toilets were broken and the quality of the kit onboard was nothing special. If Airbus keep making subpar aircraft airlines will go back to Boeing.

NASCAR social site

March 03rd, 2007 | Category: Sports

After that exciting Daytona 500, which resembled the LA Freeway in a large crash rather, rather than a race there is a renewed interest in the sport. NASCAR is even picking up interest abroad. If you are a NASCAR fan anyway I would recommend that you go sign up to OvalFan.com for NASCAR Race Fans! You can follow all the news, views and scuttlebutt about one of the most popular motor sports in the world. And lets face it there is a lots of stuff going on with NASCAR that one needs to keep track of if you are a fan.

Banned In Beijing

March 03rd, 2007 | Category: Blog gos, Politics

chinaWell, this would explain my pathetic traffic. The Chinese government, fearful of my growing reputation for providing utterly unproductive and bourgeois Flash games, has blocked this fine blog. At least that’s my interpretation.

The test isn’t definitive—it routes the URL through one server in China and sees if it can load the page, so it’s a limited sampling.

Needless to say, I would wear it as a badge of pride that a totalitarian, evil regime would find me subversive enough to censor. In case I haven’t been blocked already, I’ll just say this: Tiananmen Square—yay! Falun Gong—yay! 2008 Olympics—boo! Mao Tse-tung—boo!

And speaking of that last example, stop changing the way you spell stuff every couple of years. Why the hell should we care if it’s closer to the way you pronounce things?

That should do it.

Apple coupons

March 03rd, 2007 | Category: Technology

I am considering getting a new Mac iPhone so I am happy to hear that Apple coupons can be found on CouponChief.com for Apple’s site. In fact there are quite a few coupons and discount codes for Apple. They vary on the type of product and the type of deal offered. I would go for one of those new shuffles if I were you.

Of course the site has coupons for other popular online shopping sites. It is well worth checking out before you head off to spend your money online considering how many choice you have these days. This post is sponsored.
