Political links…

February 12th, 2007 | Category: New Hampshire Primaries, Politics, UK Politics

A few bit of politics. First of all one of BBC discussion about tax-payers oversight of spending in their regional organisation. Kudos from me for banging on about how they giving loads of money to bloody football clubs in rather taking the piss.

And there is, of course, there row about the outing of Guido Fawkes and the resulting fallout. Iain has called for the “wars” to cease althought I think its highly unlikely his request will be headed with the MSM (as well as Tom Watson & Tim Ireland) stoking the flames with all their might to discredit bloggers. Slugger O’Toole has waded in with a well thought-out piece on our alledged wickedness. Guido naturally has responded in his normal nonchalant way and more power to him.

Of course, YAB is on about how blogs are hurting democracy and we are all bores. YAB is a big defender of the tiny ruling clique/MSM that sit in London and pontificate not bothering a toss for what is actually happening in the real world. Her type are threatened by bloggers who cut through the crap and get down to brash tacks. Too bad the BBC gave her another chance to peddle her bile yesterday.

Oh and for a bit of fun check out this video. Remember every time you eat pork you annoy an Islamist.

Latest Republican straw poll is below, alas they still have not managed to put Ron Paul in their list.

SI Swimsuit is near…

February 12th, 2007 | Category: Stuff

In an effort to screw up a few people’s Valentines Day and probably perk up things for quite a few more the Swinsuit issue of Sport Illustrated is coming out on this Wednesday. Not only can you buy the mag but you can download pics for your phone. You have models like Ana Beatriz Barros on your mobile so you can drool over it whenever you wish. The pics are $1.99 and you can get them from most major mobile carriers in the US. Or you can oogle Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum, Marisa Miller, Ana Beatriz Barros, tennis star Maria Sharapova, Molly Sims and 2005 SI cover girl Carolyn Murphy.

Probably not a good idea to be looking at when you are at your Valentines dinner with your significant other. Those of you feeling nostalgic can download shots of SI models of yesteryear. You can also download animated and video ringtones for your phone from the collection. There is quite a wide selection of things for you to choose from on the site.

This annual occurance tends to include loads of hype, chaos and controversy. It comes around like Groundhog Day but keeps going and going. This post is sponsored.

Putting The ‘Pig’ Into Pygmalion

I’ve grown accustomed to her hate.
She almost makes the stomach spin.
I’ve grown accustomed to her posts
too nuts for Daily Kos.

That’s about the only thing I can quote from Iowahawk’s hilarious take on the John Edwards/Amanda Marcotte imbroglio. If you know nothing about the story, Edwards hired the foul-mouthed Marcotte, who runs the Pandagon blog, as one of his official bloggers for his presidential run. If you’d like a taste of her style, Michelle Malkin collected some nice samples of it from Pandagon before they were deleted.

Warning: Language, though if you did read Pandagon, you certainly won’t be surprised by it.

February 12th, 2007 | Category: Politics

You go to San Diego, forget you have to drive, get hammered and drive home. Well on the way home you get pulled over and busted for driving drunk. Wouldn’t it be good to know a DUI attorney in the area? This You go to San Diego, forget you have to drive, get hammered and drive home only to get busted. Wouldn’t it be good to know a DUI attorney in the area? This San Diego DUI attorney even has helpful tips on his site for what to say or do when it happens. He has a victory page and a page with defences. So head over and check him out…hopefully reminding yourself that you should never need him.

Top Gear…gone to shit or just a temporary fillip?

February 12th, 2007 | Category: Amusements

I notice that Hamster quite rightly picked a Dodge RAM for his cross-state drive. Two GM cars vs a Dodge…I know which I am pulling for.

By the way the painting thing was pretty damn stupid that is for sure. Whomever came up with that idea should be seriously get his arse kicked. I mean Alabama? What next having them all go into the middle of south central LA and should nigger?

Oh yeah and ending up in New Orleans yeah very tasteful. It was the most pathetic Top Gear I have ever seen. The “hate America” crowd seems to have infiltrated the Top Gear production team which is a great shame.
