Lagwolf & Lair redux

February 05th, 2007 | Category: Lagwolf & Co Show

On SLXG they will rebroadcast the show @ noon SLT, 8pm GMT & 3pm EST for those of you who missed the show last night. The show has caused controversy, thought and debate. We will be doing some more on the subject next week as well and are currently lining up some guests who know the subject. We are also looking into a better method for recording the show.

You can find the MP3 here.

Tim has a nice collection of Britblogs at his place while there is a new Haveil Havalim to ponder too. Of course there is a Carnival of the Vanities for your reading pleasure as well.

SNN is up too featuring a wonderful load of kicking at Red “I love Islamist” Livingston.

Oh and if I can I would love to be at the party in Miami to celebrate Castro’s Death.

I have been interviewed by Bloginterview.net so please head over and take a look.

The final round of Pickle Tales at Podcast Pickle is up.

Amazingly enough Lady Thatcher is still number one on the Daily Politics poll of greatest prime ministers.

A rather curtailed Short Story Carnival is up for your enjoyment.

Lagwolf & Lair show…

If you missed the Skypecast here is a link to the show. Learn about the terrorists in Second Life and how they seek to defend you behaviour. It makes for interesting listening it has to be said. Some of their reasoning would not be out of place in the Gaza strip. Have a listen and decide for yourself.

Update: We will sort out a host for the file today. Sorry if anyone tried to dl it and didn’t get it.

Mint card

February 05th, 2007 | Category: Stuff

If you are in the UK and looking for a new credit card after you realise that your current interest rate is a bit over the top you might want to consider checking out the Mint credit cards. Besides having some of the funniest adverts on the UK TV, with their Clever-Dumb balance theme, they have a card with 0% balance tranfers & purchases until December 2007. Their typical apr is 16% (variable). Mint Cards were famous for their odd shape.

Another interesting feature that Mint offer is a “gift” card which allows you to put a certain amount on it and give it away. It is a pre-pay credit card which presumably would have multiple uses for many types of customers. It gives gift buyers the option of something slightly more classy that a gift voucher when thinking of the next round of presents for their loved ones. This post is sponsored by Mint.
