Pinochet dies
Cue celebrations from the left and a complete white wash of the man he overthrew Allende. My fave was the BBC calling Allende a “democratically” elected Marxist. The bugger made it to 91 years which is not bad you have to admit. Naturally they claim “justice was robbed” because of his death. Yeah Pinochet was a total bastard but he supported the UK when it was facing the Argies all those thousands of miles away. Sure expose Pinochet’s crimes but why not expose the abuses of the predecessor as well.
