Investments in the Sun are of great interest all over but especially in the UK. Yesterday afternoon there was a marathon of Place in the Sun on More 4 yesterday. I wonder if they have heard about this lot featuring of affordable housing, duplex, SW Florida, Equity. You can get a construction loan for 85 to 90% of the appraised value. If you are interested in investing in Southern Florida this might be something to have a look at.
