Lagerfeld on Paris…
Normally he speaks a load of tosh but this bit is rather spot on I have to admit.

They seem to be perfecting a frame for an exceptional way of life which, I’m sad to say, no longer exists – or only for a handful of privileged people.”
France is getting bashed by fashion designers now. One wonder how much farther Le Belle France can sink.

How much farther? There are still wine makers to have a go. Oh, and lest we forget: cheese makers, of course!
