Giuliani Campaigns In New Hampshire

November 04th, 2006 | Category: New Hampshire Primaries, Politics

Though he hasn’t announced whether he will run for the 2008 Republican Presidential nomination, that hasn’t stopped former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani from acting like a candidate.

Giuliani was in New Hampshire yesterday to drum up support for Republican incumbent Second District Congressman Charlie Bass. With the race too close to call, candidates, including Bass, have called out the big guns, with Giuliani being one of the biggest.

Giuliani and Arizona Senator John McCain are considered by many as the leading Republican contenders for the 2008 presidential race.

Kerry cartoon…

November 04th, 2006 | Category: Politics

Well it made me laugh heartily. The amusing thing of course is that Kerry still has not stfued! Senior Democrats must be going apopletic.

This is amusing as well…,Democratic Convention schedule for 2008.

No it seems some Dems are suggesting doing a Jim Jones if they don’t regain the house.

PPP wedding

November 04th, 2006 | Category: Amusements

Always looking for a new and original way of plugging themselves PPP have come up with a great new scheme its called the PayPerPost Wedding, I have looked over the three couples and I have to say that the decision was easy to make. Couple Three Mike & Corrin are the two I not only believe should win but have voted for. Now regular readers of this blog might be able to tell why I voted for them right away…not from their tale…but from their picture. Their story is quite interesting as well. Its a bit of a round about tale of boy meets girl and worthy of a song methinks.

Brilliant advert…

November 04th, 2006 | Category: Politics

This advert for the forthcoming elections is one of the funniest I have heard in a long time. It involves the Beverley Hills theme-tune and is quite clever. It is good to see that some people are actually making an effort with their political adverts. Far more fun than that lame collection of headlines and pictures slagging of the other side that is so common.

Acne medicine

November 04th, 2006 | Category: Fashion

And this acne medicine is endorsed by such people as Vanessa Williams, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Brook Shields and Elle Macpherson so you know its got to be good. Its one of those three step programs to cleaner skin that when purchased together costs less than $60. And we all know that acne medicine that actual works is damn near priceless if you are suffering from the problem. If you got acne or know someone who does why don’t you head over and take a look.

Paintball

An even more genteel version of paintball. Your goal is to get the red ball to the red square. The ball follows (more or less) the rule of gravity; when you click “Go” or press the spacebar, it drops straight down until it’s diverted by one of the white lines.

Here’s where you come in. You can add as many lines as you like to steer the ball to its target, making sure it doesn’t drop to the bottom of the screen (or touch any of the other edges). The third level is a Rorschach test of sorts. Normal people will see a cuddly bunny. Dirty-minded people might see something else.

It isn’t rocket science, but it’s a nice way to kill a few minutes. There’s music and sfx, which you can turn off via the “Options” menu. You can also design your own levels there.

Rising Stars get their own site…

November 04th, 2006 | Category: Music

Jason Ritchie has launched a Rising Stars of Rock site for the bands you might want to keep an eye on in the coming months. There is nothing more fun than realising that you were there before they got big.

Dream Cabinet (UK)

November 04th, 2006 | Category: UK Politics

While waiting for a poll to come up on the Daily Politics site for something I am writing I stumbled on the Fantasy Cabinet page.

Well Fantasy Cabinet has a few people in it you wouldn’t expect. Discussions round the cabinet table would be rather fun and probably fairly liquid as well.
