What better way of winding up the Republican base and those in the military/veterans than by saying that soldiers are morons. And then telling people who got upset to get knotted. Every site these days have a forum for their users to chat about things going on the site. It used to be a right pain in the arse to set one up and was in the realm of web geeks only. Well GoBoardz aims to change all that allowing those with little database knowledge to set up their own forum for their users. The boards run quickly as there is little in the way of lots of graphics or bells & whistles to make sure you are left waiting. Own goal Mosque?
Andrew Gilligan, while doing the “I loath Islamophobia” CYA, thinks that the new super-Mosque right near the new Olympic stadium area might not exactly be the best idea to help smooth relations between Muslims and everyone else. One does wonder what it will be like for those in East London of a non-Muslim type who are already feeling squeezed by them having to look up and see this large crescent above them. I do find that Muslims do tend to this sort of own goal quite often not really understanding anything about how non-Muslims think (other than to assume they all hate Muslims). The various threats eminating from various Muslim leaders about the current discussion about the relationship between Islam and the rest about possible violence if the discussion continues does not help either.
And speaking of the discussion of Islam: Dean has apologised for some of his more recent OTT attacks on Robert Spencer.
