BOMS Dodgey style

Welcome to the new home of the Bestof Me Symphony. Now this first one will be a bit of gold master of it as we test the emails system et al. We should have a new logo by next week, reflecting the new host.

First of all let me thank Gary Cruse for his valiant hosting of the BOMS over the last few years. Secondly I want to encourage you to send in your best blast from the past. I would encourage you to maybe send in good stuff from other blogs you might frequent as well.

George Roper is first out of the hat with his What does a living wage look like?

Gary sends me Chainsaw in Pecker Woods?

Mad Kane gives us Amazing Disgrace.

Brandon Peele offers up > generative_transformation/2006/10/was_maslow_a_se.html”>Was Maslow a Sexist?

While Marcia Adair brings us > from-home.html”>Abroad Thoughts, from home.

Zendo Deb offers up the intrigueingly titled > defend-herself.html”>Prepared to Defend Herself.

And we have two from Betya: Enlarging House and Humpty Dumpty.

The title this one is pretty much self-explanatory. Hauling Furniture, Reckless Youth, and the Sunday Paper.

And finally we have a bit of a poser. Are you saving enough for your retirement?

Ask General Kang: Do you own a typewriter? And do you have 999,999
co-workers?

Big Jihad In A Small World

That is our lot for the week. Lets hope for a bigger raft of the best of you for next time. Thanks to all who have sent stuff in and dear readers please enjoy the vintage goodness.

Thank you so much for the link! I really do apologize for the utterly awful layout of that post, it is a pain to read.
