Policy hole being filled
While Cameron’s Conservatives do all they can to actually have any policies of note; organisations are stepping up to push for lines on certain issues. The newest one is called The Speak Out Campaign and it aims to get the discussion of Britain’s relationship with the EU restarted.

I have to admit that I have never been a big fan of Audis, considering them little more than a posh VW, however I must admit their latest crop are starting to get interesting. And I have to admit their succuss in Le Mans/ALMS with a diesel race car has impressed me to no end! That sort of intresting thinking helps to make certain types of racing more exciting. I watched quite a bit of Le Mans just to see how their car fared.
As a result I have given them a new chance and quite like what I see. The new Audi TT is much prettier than the first incarnation of the car and the A8 is just a stunning luxury automobile. In fact I would argue their new luxury cars are a monumental step up from the Audis of recent years. They seem to be taking their game to the Japanese and engaging them head to head rather than ignoring them as some automakers are wont. You can get your A6 or A8 bulletproofed if you are in need of a little more protection when driving around.

Cameron turns 40…
Maybe he can now start to come up with grown-up policies that are less fluff and more realistic. I wish him many happy returns and do rather hope someone has give him a copy of the Road to Serfdom by Hayek or maybe even my book
PPP controversial?
Well the big news last week about PayPerPost was the fact they got $3mil from venture capitalists to grow their business. Techcruch has a post about blog advertising and PPP calling the company controversial. I thought the headline is a bit much; just because a bunch of blogging purists have their knickers in a twist over the fact some of us are getting paid money for our posts does not make it controversial. Unlike most of the other revenue schemes on the web, PPP actually does what it says on the tin; instead of promising big bucks and producing didly squot unless you are one of the absolute top bloggers in the world. PPP actually pays bloggers for what they produce and does not promise them pie-in-sky money. I have yet to see a reasonable criticism of PPP, their bloggers or the business model.
There is a podcast on the subject as well.
As I have said before if you don’t like PPP then don’t do it on your blog. But stfu about the rest of us making a few bob from our blog traffic.
I expect the VCs to make quite a bit of money out of their investment.

Were Nazis capitalists?
A daft question methinks but that does not stop there being a discussion about it in the comments section of Hit & Run. The discussion was spawned by a post about the recent self-outing as formerely SS by Gnter Grass.
