Bumped into Iain Dale who is promoting the new web tv channel 18 Doughty Street. Says many A listers are now fed up because of the resentment it has caused. Maybe it’s a liability….

Wolfie @ Tory Party Conf.

October 01st, 2006 | Category: UK Politics

It seems there has been a massive fuck up with the conference passes this year. Hundreds of delegates have been left without passes and the queue at accreditation snakes round the car park. The rumour doing the rounds is that the passes were originally printed with the old logo and it was the last minute change to the tree that caused chaos. The theatre has now been taken over as a waiting room to avoid the embarrassing sight of queues outside. In a straw poll of members taken in the bar of the Highcliffe last night, the new logo is hated.

October 01st, 2006 | Category: Announcements, Technology

PPP, those people who are in the forefront of consumer generated advertising are doing a contest in relation to their big announcement this week. Its got something to do with a thing called payperpostbignews and I am pretty sure I know what they are on about. Then again, they probably figured that many of the PPP family of bloggers are bright enough to figure things out anyway. This lot keep us on our toes and are making it interesting for us. Some of the other parts of this contest are below; so see if you can find em’ all and come along for the ride.

Oh darn…

October 01st, 2006 | Category: UK Politics

Looks like there will be no snap election after the Labour Party has figured out who in the heck is succeeding Tony Blair. According to Guido the Labour Party is rather in the red and really can’t afford to fight a general election for quite a while. It seems their funds are rather drying up a bit and they have not replaced the funding. This is terribly good news for the Tories, of course. That means Cameron and his crew will have a bit more time to find some bloody policies before having to fight the next G.E. It seems to me that the next year or so in British politics is going to be rather interesting.

This is a great site Dissolusioned and Bored; cynicism that will make Guido seem perky!

Well you probably may of heard of it by now. Slugger O’Toole has the best take on the WebCameron and the general Conservative Chameleon Conference. Its going to be a fascinating few days that is for sure. Some of my Tory friends are angry, some of them are amused and a few of them are so bemused they don’t know what to do.

Yep good ole Ken except there is word he now thinks its a bad idea to Hamza Jr work for the tube. London is getting more and more bizarre each day. No doubt Ken will blame the Jews for getting him into this mess.
