After all the paranoia about chatrooms a few years ago the MSM and parents seem to have calmed down a bit about their dangers. I have never thought a chatroom was any more dangerous than hanging out at the mall or going to the movies. The people everyone is paranoid about, ie predators, will always find away and its far better to make children vigilant that have them naive and protected. Those of us of a certain age frequented many a hacker chatroom whether we were hackers or just lurkers. It was fascinating and a bit naughty but you were still in the safety of your own home while using pseudonym. Not much has changed. Most children and young adults spend their time on the internet using some nickname or other. There is enough annonymity if you use your brain.
Superman Returns
As you know, I have a strict policy against promoting commercial properties on this fine blog, unless they pay me. However, I have temporarily relaxed this rule so that you might partake of this wildly entertaining * promo game (Warning: Some quiet music and sound effects) for the movie Superman Returns, which opens opened about three months ago.
I guess I’m going to have to start getting up earlier in the mornings if I want to cash in on that crazy blog payola I’ve been hearing so much about.

Not sure about you but I am fond Gas Fireplaces; I happen to be right near one now. It, with its marble exterior, is one of the things I found so nice about this flat. However like anything else that deals with gas there are quite a things you need to know about it.
