Mosques that breed hate

Category: ROPMA, Terrorism

What do you my readers think would happen if a Church or a Synagogue had produced a large number of young men bent on killing as many people as possible in a terrorist act? You think there might be moves to shut it down and arrest the Minister/Rabbi involved? How come we don’t see any Imans arrested in this latest sweep of murderous youths?

Futhermore what would we think if Christian or Jewish leaders refused to outright condemn the actions: prefering to avoid blame and place it squarely on an outside leader(s) of another nation or an event half-way across the world?

Why exactly do we let Muslims leaders get away with it? Oh yes and would Christian or Jewish leaders be warned of upcoming raids on young Jews or Christian as Muslim leaders were before the raids a bit over 24 hours ago?

The Telegraph on the other hand stress that its a bit closer to home: its these radical’s families that need to do something. Althought the first comment gives families a bye and blames it all on Bush naturally.

NB: I hope that Sky News put up the interview they did with the head of the Muslim Council; it was both eye-opening and angering. The man refused to answer why nothing was being done in the Muslim community in the UK to route out radicals. Naturally he condemned George Bush as a fascist.

Update: A High Wycombe Muslim community leader, Mohammed Kalil said that those arrested there were not the slightest bit unusual. He then went on to blame “world events” naturally. More reaction from Muslims. More “dialogue” is being called for from everyone else. Still no sign of the slightest bit of contrition or acceptance of even part of the guilt for their young un’s behaviour.

As you may or may not already be aware, members of the Watcher’s Council hold a vote every week on what they consider to be the most link-worthy pieces of writing around… per the Watcher’s instructions, I am submitting one of my own posts for consideration in the upcoming nominations process.
Here is the most recent winning council post, here is the most recent winning non-council post, here is the list of results for the latest vote, and here is the initial posting of all the nominees that were voted on.

I hear you on the radio WLOB with Ray and Ted yesterday (8/11). You had a great point and I wish they had given you more time to talk about it. This is the kind of information that we really need to hear. I also listen to your segment on Shire Network News Podcast. Keep up the good work and I hope the next time you are in Maine you have great weather.
