Reflecting on 7/7
It is not with sorrow but with the anger and resentment that I feel on the anniversary of an event I liveblogged it last year. I am still incensed that the Muslim community spends more time whingeing about “islamophobia” than they do trying to route out extremism. I am incensed that whenever question about terrorist attacks by young British Muslims is posed Muslim reporesentatives seem to be far more keen to blame Pres. Bush, Blair, Sharon or anyone else than the evil in their midst. I think Blair’s comments yesterday about the lack of movement on these issues is spot on.
I am still in admiration of the security and safety services who train and prevent attacks from occuring on me and my loved ones. They have made mistakes but there have been no attacks (successful) since 7/7.
Oh yes and I am convinced that there will be more attacks by Islamist scum born and bred in the UK. The question is how many more attacks will it take for the Great British public’s tolerance and forgiveness finally breaks.
As you may or may not already be aware, members of the Watcher’s Council hold a vote every week on what they consider to be the most link-worthy pieces of writing around… per the Watcher’s instructions, I am submitting one of my own posts for consideration in the upcoming nominations process.
Here is the most recent winning council post, here is the most recent winning non-council post, here is the list of results for the latest vote, and here is the initial posting of all the nominees that were voted on.

Thank you Andrew for saying something I’ve been ranting about for years. Ever since the whole Lebanon/Syria/Israel/Palestine/Jordan (ad nauseum) situations got really hot, I’ve been asking people (both Middle Eastern and not, both Muslim and not) about this, and in all cases the reaction I’ve gotten is probably similar to that a leper got in the middle ages. But the issue of Muslim responsibility (for anything, really) is becoming more and more like the elephant in the living room - except that the living room is shrinking to the size of a broom closet. Because until or unless the Muslim community stands up to condemns these actions and assume responsibility for decrying them, they admit themselves complicit - accessories after the fact. And that’s the whole of it.

Just like blacks in America. They would rather play the “race card” & protect the evil in their midst than to root it out.
Julia Gori’s comments on this week’s London “IslamExpo” and the in-your-face insult at the 7/7 victims by islamofascists trying to “build bridges” [ie disarming the west]is well worth reading.

whining, not whingeing. root out, not route out….whenever questions about terrorist attacks by young British Muslims are posed
Not: “…whenever question about terrorist attacks by young British Muslims is posed..” representatives, not reporesentatives. …how many more attacks will it take before the great British public’s…

Congratulations on being linked on Michele Malkin’s blog.
She knows quality opinion when she reads it. Rock on!
I linked to your article from http://plancksconstant.org/blog1/2006/07/you_have_to_be_catho.html , excerpt: When my family came to America we accepted living in an American Culture. Otherwise why come here? If you absolutely have to live in 722 AD stay in friggin Saudi Arabia. Don’t like it there? Then change it over there. Don’t come here - don’t change anything here. We like it just fine.
I wholeheartedly agree with your comments regarding the dirty little Muslim rats who skulk in the corners of our cities, only coming out to grab their welfare payments, or to wreak carnage on the native population of the UK.
I must take issue, however, of your use of the term ‘British Muslims’. There are British people and Muslims, the latter choosing to set up separate communities within the greater populace, while rejecting assimilation into the broader culture. Muslims in no sense regard themselves as British.
Their allegiance is to Islam, and their intent is to impose an Islamic theocracy throughout the UK.
