We have made it to our fifth show.
Laurence, has contributed a 9-part piece on the 4th of July and I have done two slightly different pieces on the World Cup and English aftermath. John Haithwaite has a few instrumental pieces scatered around the place as well. In other words a typical DR podcast.

As a minister when you have to attend this sort of thing on regular basis.
There are few less glamorous jobs in Whitehall than minister for local government, as Labour MP Phil Woolas knows only too well.At what must be a new nadir for his ministerial career, he has agreed to be the keynote speaker at a one-day “Public Toilet Seminar” on July 19, hosted by the British Toilet Association.
“Mr Woolas will be outlining the Government’s current policy towards public toilet provision, particularly relating to the non-statutory nature of this front-line public service,” promises the invitation that landed on my desk.
Other highlights include a discussion about the state of London’s public toilets and a speech entitled: “Toilet and Tourism – The Vital Link”.
Surely they could send John Prescott after all isn’t his political career in the shit already?
Then again its a portfolio a certain Lib-Dem might enjoy taking over.

First of all start your day out with a bit of Accept and Balls to the Wall found via this great site which was discovered by Major Scarlet. German-American Carnival is trying to keep things together.
Go vote for your favourite punk from the 70s. And while you are at it; please vote for your favourite 100 word tale of the week.
The Bestof is up for this week as is the latest collection from Britbloggers. And those who like a bit of fiction can find it over at the Storyblogging Carnival.
And the Dissident Frogman is back for the 4th of July. COTV is published for the week so head there and enjoy.

They’re not kidding. I wasn’t able to make it past the seventh level—the top score is an unbelievable 773.
You get 20 seconds to knock down an arrangement of dominoes, squashing a tomato (I think) in the bargain. If you clear all the dominoes, you get a time bonus. For each one still standing, you lose a second on your next attempt. You can elect to pass on any of three stages.
To restart the game, click on “Quit” in the upper right of the Game Over or high score screen. Warning: Music and sounds.
