Gecko from East London?

One of Ken’s slithery friends has gone off to the US and making money as an insurance spokesman. The Gecko from Geiko is now talking. This one is one of the best.

    GEICO is well known for it’s odd and often humorous commercials in the US. They’ve been doing them for several years. Every now and then they try to intruduce the Gecko. He always had a British accent.

    Years a go it was someone with a very “posh” accent. I know British accents vary greatly depending on geography and I can distinctly tell the difference but thats about all I know (I’m a dumbass hayseed from middle America).

    Anyway the GEICO Gecko had about 4 different voices all British. This latest one seems to be a hit. I think he will last.

    He sounds like a “regular Joe”. Sadly I don’t get that “feeling” (like many American ladies when listening to the male British accent).

    I hope he keeps the job and makes tons of money.
