1 commentFootie fooey…
As you might have read below I have declared this site to be a World Cup Free zone. There will be no mention of David Beckham or Wayne Rooney (or his bleeding foot) or Germany. I wish England and the USA (rated 5 in the world above England?) teams great luck in the competition; but I would rather not hear about it. I am planning to boycott any stations or shops or pubs that are showing anything World Cup related. I find it an affront to the rest of the bloody country that don’t like football (or sports for that matter) that many channels believe that we have to suffer through more bloody footie programs. Yeah, that means you BBC2; can’t non-footie car lovers get one damn hour a week to enjoy the snideness of Clarkson & co and admire some of the best cars in the world. These achievements of science and engineering are being side-lined by a bunch of preening over-paid jocks. Bollocks to footie, to all sports and to everything related to them. My god one of the cable channels has the bloke from Royale Family searching for the shirts of Englands 66 squad. How desperate is that?
Although it does worry me that Nasser bin Sliman Al-Omar shows his distain for footie. He believes it leads to SOCCER CAUSES DRUG ADDICTION AND JEWISHNESS; well at least he didn’t, mention gayness (guess he hasn’t heard of what some footballers like to do to each other with their phones) too. Charles has the video if you care to watch.
This does not even take into account the effect on the economy of all those skiving off work to watch the matches or the fact that many people are bloody boorish when England does badly. I don’t give a damn if England lost I should expect good service any time. And if things go really badly there are those who will riot and cause lots of damage.
In short I will not be watching a minute of World Cup 2006 Germany in the next few months. It will be hard but I think I can manage it. I am guessing Toonami and Motors TV will be getting my eyes quite a bit.
*NB: I am fascinated that people can actually make money from any sport. The business of sport is quite interesting. I side with the clubs when fans whinge about a new kit. If you can’t afford it; don’t freaking buy the bloody thing…doh. As they say…there is one born every minute.

Undoubtably Photoshopped, but it’d certainly be ideal for tootling around the darker precincts of Hell. Maybe if you ask nice, you can get some of those streamers for the handlebars.
Enjoy your stay, bacon boy.
