Boris on Da Vinci Code
According to astonishing statistics from the Roman Catholic Church, 22 per cent of British adults have now read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, and of those an amazing 60 per cent believe that, yeah, it is probably the case that Jesus indeed got married to Mary Magdalene and sired a line of descendants.
Glad to hear it. I am glad that Britons have the nouse to question the Catholic Church & Protestant Chuches line on Jesus. It shows that Britons are rational free-thinking people who don’t buy everything that they are told hook, line and sinker. Britons are clever enough to realise that the Church has been manipulating “the truth” since its foundation whether it be ditching all the uncomfortable books of the Bible at Nicea, purgueing females from the Christian faith because of a mysogynist Pope in the 9th century or killing anyone who took exception with their pronouncements.
Dan Brown, plagarist that he is, has managed to do what the Gnostics and other heretics have been trying to do since Jesus was alive, present an alternative vision of the life & times of Jesus. While Dan Brown is not original in any way with his ideas on DVC; he managed to write a novel that caught the public immagination. It would be nice if paid more credit to all those who have been writing about this subject for many a year.
If Dan Brown has managed, with a fairly poorly written book, to undermind the Catholic Church then more power to him. Call this it the time revenge of every heretic, heathen, pagan, Jew and gnostic they have slaughtered over the millenia.

I can’t bring myself to be so pleased. Either its the moon conspiracy, or 9-11 by Mossad and so on back to the Protocols of the Learned…. etc. Now is exactly when a disrespect for where the good civilization comes from that is going to destroy Europe.
While I share the general view of that post, the statement “fairly poorly written book” is an understatement of the century. There should be some limits to what an author can get off with… Maybe it is time to re-introduce physical punishment for bad writing. Singapore style, you know.
