I know from experience that my readers are generous and, needless to say, politically engaged. Many are webloggers, hired journalists, or editors. Please consider contributing to the fund established for the Western Standard’s legal defence. The Standard, which is growing fast but cash-poor like any young magazine, is fending off a vexatious human-rights lawsuit brought in order to punish the magazine for printing the controversial Danish cartoons about the Prophet Muhammad. None of us can afford to have the rights in question defended passively or on the cheap.
