To be sleazy, or not to be sleazy - that is the question!

Category: Politics

The ongoing saga of the Secretary of State who has failed to declare her husband’s business interests in matters she had control of, and denial that she knew that he had paid off their substantial mortgage stretches Guido’s somewhat broad imagination a little too far methinks! Surely this little affair should have the national press screaming for resignations at the very least, starting in Number 10! Similar economies of the truth during the last Conservative government had all the tabloids and most of the broadsheets howling “SLEAZE!” on every front page, so why are we not seeing this now? Why, when this is the sleaziest bunch of morally deficient crooks ever to disgrace the unholy empires of Whitehall, are we not being told just how crooked and sleazy they really are?

Some may call Guido a conspiracy theorist, but as one scandal follows another this bunch of dishonest and morally bankrupt aparatchiks hide behind yet another wall of spin and disclosure – of someone else’s supposed “errors of judgement”. Just how much longer will the press and the BBC remain in thrall to the Millbank Agitprop Corps? Just how much longer will we, the paying public, have to suffer watching the Labour Party’s “Black Information Unit” (perhaps that is not PC - so shall we call it simply the Labour Misinformation Unit?) use every ruse and trick in the book – including circulating stolen correspondence and diaries to “expose” the Royal Family – to create a smokescreen for their crooked and morally deficient activities? Guido is sure that he was not alone in wanting to drag that pompous puppet out of his smug little tete a tete on the telly and throw him out into the street. God may well prove to be less severe on him at some future date than the electorate he has so comprehensively abused and misled!

Guido may be “old fashioned” but he cannot be alone in wanting to see the media treat Blair and his sleazy chums the same way they have treated previous regimes – or in wishing to see the entire Labour sham exposed for the corrupt and dishonest facade that it is!

So now we have the only recorded case in Parliament where a minister has left her family to spend more time with the government, rather than the usual opposite?
