Watching the news coverage of the “protests” outside the Danish Embassy over the weekend, one could be forgiven for wondering what the Metropolitan Police Commissioner’s orders to his men (and women) would have been if the mob waving placards calling for the beheading of people and the bombing of the EU, had been members of the Countryside Alliance. Am I the only person who thinks they might have gone in batons flailing, and dragged off the “ringleaders” for immediate interrogation and prosecution? And, if I am wrong, why has it taken until now for our government to announce that “matters would be investigated to see if there were grounds for criminal prosecution”.
My suggestion is – “don’t hold your breath!”
As I have commented on this blog before, this government will do anything and everything to appease the Muslim extremists, even to the point of continuing to allow them to publish and spread violently anti-Jewish and anti-Christian propaganda. Anyone who dares to voice any doubts about the wisdom of this is immediately branded “racist”, “Christian fundamentalist” or anti-inclusive. At worst, you could be accused of being a member of the BNP, an organisation I find little sympathy for, but whose existence in a world where the balance has been shifted so far away from equality to all, to advantage for the few, that it is entirely predictable. Had any European, Christian or Jewish organisation carried out the demonstration with banners expressing similar sentiments, we would by now have been subjected to hourly proclamations, from the governments usual group of arrogant twaddle purveyors nassally voicing their disgust, of their sense of outrage and condemnation of all concerned. But, as it is their nice friendly Muslim fanatic rent-a-mob that would never do and so, it’s all down to some softly-softlty shoe shuffling by the Met who may, after lengthy study of video footage, decide that there is no case to answer.
There really does need to be a serious shake out of our ideas on balance and fairness or we will end up as another backwards looking Islamic Republic run by the dictat of Imam’s and Mullahs.
