Whilst they celebrate the tragedy of the one individual who did more than anyone to pave the way to Palestinian independence (total contribution of their Arab brothers, zero), they should reflect on whether they really expect such benign treatment from any future leader of Israel.

    You can hardly undo the hate cultivated during two generations. After all, even if the Western media portrays, like Independent did, for example, Sharon as a baby-eating monster, what can one expect from a brainwashed Palestinians.

    For contrast – local TV interviewed a few Israeli Arabs. They do respect the man and clearly understand that political vacuum/chaos in Israeli politics, if such happens, will delay and harm the chances of a peace agreement
