The Rolling Stones are too old to have watched one of their recent concerts in the United States. How crazy is that? Mick J. and even wrinkly Keith Richards have more zest than half a dozen drear-merchants than Coldplay or Radiohead put together.

Charles Kennedy is under pressure again; now the rumblings are getting louder (11 Shadow Cabinet members have signed a letter). I wonder if the Lib-Dems will enjoy Growing Old Disgracefully’s Whisky & Westminster.

Update: Charlie is going to make a statement. News 24 is reporting it is about his boozing and treatement for alcholism.
Breaking News: He has called a leadership contest; which he will participate in. Guess he is hoping to get the sympathy vote after his AA style “confession”.

Murray updates us on Kiltgate and the news is not good. The school board is defending the racist/anti-Scot behaviour of the school administrators. A bit of good news thought; over 12k people have signed the petition and the young man has been given a full kilt for his clan.

Yesterday was Louis Braille’s birthday, and Google reworked its logo to commemorate the date:

Actually Playboy didn’t, but that’s an authentic braille copy, fron November 1995. It was apparently being auctioned off on eBay (before eBay got the jitters and removed the listing).
It’s just one of the many fine offerings of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, a division of the Library of Congress.

Carnival o’ the Dogs, BOMS and Britblogger are first out of the gate this week; as per normal. Storyblogging Carnival is a bit light this week but there are five entries.
Someone, who I understand is rather nasty , and I have never heard of, has gotten himself an anti-site.
