Oddness on the range
Tom, co-songwriter and backing singer for G.o.D., and I have made a pact to start playing golf regularily from now on. After all, the band has golf shirts so we might as well use them. I used to play golf in my youth at the Ocean Reef Club near Miami with my parents. My father says I was not too horrid and had potential. I always planned to take it up in my later years. What I didn’t realise was the fact that I would be playing right-handed. You see I am a leftie, or so I thought (granted I can play pool either handed). Of course, since I played in Florida I have had the minor problem of losing an eye (or at least the use thereof). The result is that I cannot hit a damn thing left-handed but bizarrely I can hit rightie with not much problem. So instead of buying a bag of left-handed clubs, I am going to buy a right-handed set. Just another odd turn in my rather odd life.
