Kilroy-Silk’s dubious allies
Below is a letter to Veritas on a few things that concern me.
Dear Veritas,
A few things: I wonder if you realise that your candidate in Ceredigion, Ian Sheldon, has made anti-semitic remarks, including equating Israel with Nazi Germany, in Student Union Hustings at Aberystwyth University. His statement was so vile that he was ticked off by the Chair for violating the university’s anti-racism standards. I have met Mr Kilroy-Silk and rather don’t think he would want to be associated with sort of jew-hatred. Surely he should distance himself from such representations on the party’s behalf.
Secondly one of your members has been using my blog comments section as a place to advertise your party. Unless, I recieve an apology for such behaviour I shall be sending you a bill for advertising on my site . Below please find the offending comment which has appeared on my blog rather often.

Interesting. Melanie Phillips did a piece in her diary last week which suggested that Aber’s union had become a hotbed of anti-Semitism and had Hamas sympathisers in the politics faculty. I’m an ex-Aber student myself and had a few words to say about this here.
UKIP need not hold out any hope of winning Ceredigion anyway. That area has been rock-solid Plaid Cymru for ages. Even the Tories came fourth in 1997 when I voted in that constituency, and he insisted that the contest was between him and the PC guy, when Labour and the Lib Dems came in between on polling day.
Isn’t it amazing how similar some Jewist Israelis are to the Nazi Germans of the 1930’s and 40’s? Seems like any one group of human beings can be just as bad as another. The only reason Jewish Israelis can commit the terrible crimes they have on Palestinians is that they have the good ol’ United States on their side. Also, how come Israel can have weapons of mass destruction while other Middle Eastern countries are denied them? Time for regime change in Israel me thinks.
It is regret that due to an untenable postion I along with the following RCM’S from The Veritas Party ask for the removal from office of David Soutter Chief of Staff to Robert Kilroy Silk, ALAN EASTWOOD OBE,DAVID SHIPPLEY,ALAN AINSCOW, HARRY CICHY,DAVID DAVIES & ALEX STEVENSON. David Soutter’s position within the Veritas Party has become totally untenable.
